In his teenage years Franklin played drums in different bands ranging from metal to bigband sound. Meanwhile he made his firststeps towardsproducing on his amiga computer and in his fathers home studio.1994 his interest in instrumental and electronic music like early Art Of Noise,Mike Oldfield and Trackermusic introduced him to techno and djing.1995 he met Patrick Vauillaume from legendary 303 Nation which let to a jamsession and resulted in founding Fusion Records with sound engineer Stelios Sevdalis.After they released together 4 records Franklin quit the label and started to release music under the pseudonymTichy. He produced techno records on Frankfurt labels like Propaganda, Triebtäter and Fieber. Meanwhile he put his dj ambitions to halt to concentrate on his production skills.1998 his interest grew for ambient and experimental electronics and hestarted the ambient project Archaetech and stopped producing dance music for a while.2001 he returned to "4 to the floor" and released on Episode and Choke Music dubby and melodic minimal techno. The next years he concentrated more on djing in frankfurt and worked with different party crews. 2004 he started with Uwe Giegler aka Yapacc the project "Studiogemeinschaft"which let to "Infected", a release on cologne based label Trapez ltd. At about the same time he founded with Yapacc, Miriam Schulte and Bo Irion "The Green Empire" as a platform for their partys in Frankfurt. 2005 he released "The Call" and "Reaktanz Ep" on trapez ltd. and the first 12" on the new Karmarouge sublabel "Karmarouge Noir".2006 are EPs in the pipeline for Trapez Ltd, Karmarouge Noir, Immigrant Music and more.
